RENTAL RULES (NON-Compliance to the rules/damages will result in forfeiture of deposit)

NO SMOKING FACILITY

 Note: Mops, pail, vacuum cleaner are inside double doors left of the men’s restroom.  Bring your own cleaning products.

1. The center must be cleaned the same day/night when the party is over

2. Furniture: Must be returned to original position by fireplace

3. Tables & chairs:  Do not drag tables across the floor.  Tables & chairs are to be wiped clean & put back on racks

4. Walls & ceiling:  No decorations can be hung at all

5. Floors:  Party room, hall, kitchen and restrooms must be swept and damp mopped

Sweeping of Floor:

1. Dust mops are provided in the cleaning room next to the men’s restroom. 

2. The Maintenance Department provides a 36” dust mop for your use during cleanup.  This mop is NOT to be used for cleaning any type of spills on the floor.

3. Before using the dust mop, take it outside and shake it vigorously.

4. When using dust mop take outside to shake frequently.

Damp Mopping Floor:          

1. Use only the neutral, self-dissolving cleaner provided by the office.  It will be given to you when you pick up the key.

2. Fill the mop bucket with 3 gallons of WARM water.  (NOT HOT OR COLD WATER)

3. Drop the unopened packet of cleaner into the yellow mop bucket

1. The packet is highly concentrated.

2. Do not handle packet with wet hands.

3. Do not open packet.

6. Fireplace:  Use self-burning logs only.  Deposit must have been paid at time of rental

7.   Ceiling Fans:  Nothing is to be hung from the fans

8.   Parking:  No parking or tires on grass at any time.  No double parking in circle.  Parking in Hackney Ct. and  non- fire hydrant side of straight away streets near Community Center.  No parking on curved streets. Must park 30 feet from stop sign.

9.   Chairs:  Must be returned to closet and wiped if needed.  Stacking chairs must be stacked & cleaned.

10. Kitchen:  All appliances used, counter & sink must be cleaned inside and out. 

11. Trash:  All trash is to be placed in bags and put in garbage cans out front by vending machine.

12. Doors:  Front entrance double doors and side double doors are fire doors.  Make sure they are secure.

13. All persons:  Remain inside community center during the party, except to step outside to smoke.

14. Pool Use:  Prohibited during rental of center.

15  Music:  Must be at west wall (front window) and kept at a reasonable volume.  Cease at 11:30 p.m.

16. Party must end by MIDNIGHT.

17. Before closing:  Check all outlets, windows, lights, oven and doors.

18. SIGNS:  No signs are to be attached to front entrance sign, mailboxes, lamp posts, street signs, etc.

19. Cancellation:  Reservation Fee will be forfeited if less than one month notice.

20. ABSOLUTELY NO CONFETTI

21. Drop the keys off in the office night drop box immediately after the party

22. Grill use is prohibited

If you did not request security for alcohol - alcohol may not be served. If alcohol of any kind is present without our security officer, YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE YOUR DEPOSIT BACK.
